General
Whether it's stress or hormone fluctuations, complaints (negative sensations) during menstruation or even normal premenstrual symptoms (PMS) associated with the female cycle: women are exposed to a wide range of stresses in their daily lives. This makes it all the more important to supply the body with important micronutrients in order to be fit and productive every day.
It should also not be forgotten that women have very different needs for vitamins and nutrients than men. That is why we have made sure that the ingredients in our Cycle Balance capsules contain important micronutrients for women that particularly support the female body. According to the National Consumption Study II, 75% of women under the age of 50 do not achieve the recommended daily intake of iron, 21% of women do not achieve the recommended intake of zinc and 29% of women do not achieve the recommended intake of magnesium.
With Cycle Balance, you can supply your body with these and other nutrients every day, without any hassle. Of course, this supplement does not replace a balanced and healthy diet that is tailored to your needs.
During the cycle, hormonal fluctuations naturally occur, especially of estrogens and progesterone. Our Cycle Balance is our supplement for the female cycle and supports the regulation of hormonal fluctuations.
Our Cycle Balance capsules are based on a well-founded composition of selected micronutrients, the proven plant extract of chasteberry and L-carnitine, to provide you with a sensible dietary supplement without unnecessary ingredients.
Important: Dietary supplements should only be used to supplement a balanced and healthy diet, as well as a healthy lifestyle.

Cycle Balance FAQ
What is the difference between this and the previous Cycle Balance?
In our optimised formula, we have replaced magnesium citrate with a scientifically
proven magnesium complex. This effective complex of magnesium malate,
magnesium bisglycinate and magnesium lactate provides you with comprehensive support for
muscle relaxation. We have also added vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, e.g. of oestrogen and progesterone. For this reason, More Cycle Balance Formula contains both. The EFSA also confirms that magnesium
can contribute to normal nervous system function, normal psychological function and
reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
The label states that Cycle Balance is ‘not suitable for children and adolescents’ – why?
At More, we are committed to making our products as transparent as possible and ensuring that we communicate any potential risks of our products. Cycle Balance contains an ingredient known as chasteberry. There is no evidence to suggest that chasteberry poses any significant risk to children or adolescents, but there is also no published data to conclusively demonstrate that it is safe. For this reason, we have included a warning on the label to alert our consumers to this. However, there is also no evidence to suggest that monk's pepper is unsafe in post-pubertal female adolescents.
Please always consult your treating physician if you are unsure.
What dosage of Cycle Balance is recommended for adolescents?
Cycle Balance was developed to fill nutritional gaps that may be present in women and to provide additional nutritional support that can support the female cycle, even in young women. However, given the effects of the ingredient chaste tree extract on hormones and the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), it should be approved by a doctor before being given to an adolescent.
Is it sensible to take a combination of Cycle Balance and Female Protect?
Cycle Balance is designed to be taken continuously. However, you are welcome to take Cycle Balance and Female Protect in alternation. Take Female Protect in the first half of your cycle and Cycle Balance in the second half, then switching back to Female Protect after your period.
I am using hormonal contraception. Should I take Cycle Balance?
Cycle Balance was developed and manufactured specifically for women with a normal menstrual cycle. Hormonal contraceptives generally disrupt the normal menstrual cycle, so Cycle Balance is probably not the ideal supplement for you.
If you are taking hormonal contraception, it makes sense to take Pills Support in addition to the basics of Essentials O3-D3-K2 and Mineral Complete. Oral contraceptives increase the need for some nutrients (e.g. vitamins C and B6) and decrease the need for others (e.g. iron).
Is it useful to combine Meno Support and Cycle Balance?
In general, Meno Support and Cycle Balance are designed for different situations. Meno Support is specifically for women going through menopause. Cycle Balance, on the other hand, is best used in weeks 3 and 4 (the luteal phase).
It would be more beneficial to combine Cycle Balance or Meno Support with other supplements such as Essentials O3-D3-K2 and Mineral Complete than to combine Cycle Balance and Meno Support.
Can I combine Cycle Balance with Essentials O3-D3-K2 and Mineral Complete?
Yes, you can combine these three products.
What is the recommended daily intake? How can I make sure I don't overdose?
The recommended daily dose of Cycle Balance is 4 capsules per day, which reduces the chance of taking in too much of any nutrient. In general, taking vitamins and minerals above the daily reference value is not considered an ‘overdose’ but rather ‘exceeding the daily reference limit’.
It is actually quite difficult to consume water-soluble vitamins such as vitamin B6 in excess because the body excretes excess amounts quite efficiently in the urine.
Furthermore, a value above the reference value is by no means synonymous with an overdose (with negative consequences). Rather, slightly supraphysiological doses of nutrients, which lead to blood values above the reference range, can be useful in certain situations. For many parameters, it is even useful to remain in the upper range or even slightly above the reference values (e.g. 25(OH)D). This is also the case for unpleasant sensations before menstruation, for which Cycle Balance was developed. The fact that this means that vitamin B6 levels are above the reference value shows its effectiveness. In various clinical studies, up to 600 mg of vitamin B6 per day was administered over longer periods of time to achieve supraphysiological vitamin B6 levels. These had positive effects on unpleasant sensations before menstruation in some cases – without side effects. For this reason, Cycle Balance contains higher doses of vitamin B6.
Why are the capsules pink? Do I need to be concerned?
The capsules are now naturally pink in colour due to beetroot extract powder, which also makes them look better and adds variety to your supplement routine. The colouring is intentional and completely harmless.
Who should not take Cycle Balance?
The following people should not take it:
- Not suitable for breastfeeding women
- Not suitable for menopausal women
